Legal and Compliance Director

 

Samuel Armytage has more than 15 years’ of practical experience in corporate, commercial and financial services law as well as providing investment advice and capital raising.

 

Having managed investments since 1998, and worked previously as a lawyer in the Banking and Finance division of a top-tier national firm, Samuel has acquired a deep understanding of complex financial investments and structures.

 

In addition to other undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications, in 2005 Samuel was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, adding a top echelon  of skill and knowledge in:

 

• Business and investment analysis;

• Cash flow forecasting and valuation (for businesses, companies, shareholdings, and property);

• Investment selection and asset allocation;

• Portfolio strategy and management;

• Risk identification and management.

 

This has enhanced the value of Samuel's investment management advice and supported his successful roles in advising young companies on business acquisitions and raising of capital in pursuit growth via either private funding (including institutional) or public funding by stock exchange listing.

 

Samuel’s qualifications include:

 

• Bachelor commerce from Deakin University;

• Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University;

• Master of Applied Finance from University of Melbourne;

• Senior Associate of Financial Services Institute of Australia;

• Chartered Financial Analyst designation awarded by the CFA Institute of America.
